I don't want to be a hater, not that it was a bad film, it just followed a very paved formula, been done before, over and over. The two main guys in it are both kind of awful human beings and are hard to feel anything for, small town girl dreams of being an actress, come on.....
Apparently this was meant to be a 'punk' scene, though it's set in 1988
'Mysterious' characters that use their mystery as an excuse to get away with shitty behaviour are not enigmatic, they're terrible people who should be avoided in real life!
Seriously the best thing that came from this movie is the anecdote about how Sienna Miller managed to piss off the entire town of Pittsburgh by referring to it as "Shittsburgh" in an interview. The townspeople demanded an apology, and even brought a life size cut out of Sienna to all of Pittsburgh's attractions whilst waiting for her to show up for her public apology, hilarious.
