Just like a woman

Just finished watching the film Just like a woman. After seeing the trailer of course I was sceptical, small town girl, cheating sack of crap husband, big dreams, heart break, it's been done before.
But after something happens that compromises the purpose of their journey to Santa Fe, it takes you to a different place- the painful ordinariness of everyday life and that feeling of wanting a fresh start, and you really end up wishing the characters well.
Such a simple idea in one way, yet there are many layers beneath it- that's when an everyday story does it's job best- when the complexity is in the simplicity of it. (wow poncy art snob sentence alert) I really enjoyed it and loved the reservation security guard!
Both Sienna Miller and Golshifteh Farahani did really well in this.

'two friends...one journey...no limits' A sneeze could have captioned this poster better.
