Diane Arbus photography

Diane Arbus was an American photographer. Her work became known for showing people on the fringes of society. A lot of the criticism she receives is quite harsh, as she always received permission to take a portrait of her subject.

She ended up taking her own life and was only 48 when she passed away, perhaps the portraits she took was her way of identifying with others in the world, she cops a lot of flack and is an artist who divides people.

I think her work is hypnotic and could upload them all, but have left you with a few, check her other pieces out if photography is of interest to you dearest reader

Here is a portrait of the artist herself:

A Pierre Jacquet-Droz piece! post about him incoming soon! Many of his music boxes and automata are unbelievably intricate, so lovely. Some of the automata were the inspiration behind the automaton in Hugo
