Alexa Chung style

Because which young blogger hasn't admired Alexa at some point?

Still thought her book was atrocious. All these people praising it, it was quite void of any real reflection? Fashion has so much potential to do so much more, but it likes its place in the ivory tower, looking down at the unstyled masses

Harper's Bazaar August 2015, you have done an excellent job! All the colours are spot on for this photoshoot, what a stunning dress!

Animal prints

Valentino 2014
The lacy collar and shoulders, the muted colours, Unicorns alongside lions and squids, this dress is in the top ten of fanciful gowns I shall never own, but to gaze upon them is fun enough

A Frankie editorial I have been obsessing about for years, and they didn't even list who the shirt was by! What's the point?!

Vanessa Hudgens, I've never watched a film of yours, but your wardrobe is awesome

Not a fan endorsed post, as I don't have much sympathy for Disney made millionaires caught topless however, Vanessa Hudgens has a kickass wardrobe and has a wonderfully free-spirited style, kickass taste maaaaan!

That kimono above is the fabric equivalent of dreaaaammmms!

I love the 70's colours and textures she mixes ^_^

10 for today

A poesy ring, the inscription reads 'a time will come' on the outside and on the inside 'my longing keeps me awake'

Astronomical charts

Vintage Halloween costumes

Glove advertisement, we never really stop to think about how much we need, and how useful our hands are, five prong-ed pieces of mystery!

A nice detail

Autumn haze, Charles Job, 1926

A Pierre Jacquet-Droz piece! post about him incoming soon! Many of his music boxes and automata are unbelievably intricate, so lovely. Some of the automata were the inspiration behind the automaton in Hugo

Hobble skirt

Suki Waterhouse at the Oscars

In Marchesa, what a dress! I love how it suits her complexion and hair colour, complements it very nicely, Suki sure knows what looks good on her

Eva Green 300: Rise of an empire Premiere LA

I cannot find who the creator of this fabric witchcraft is, but this is a stunning dress! Eva Green plays Artemisia in the latest 300 film.

And here she is with everyone's least favourite fictional Queen in Game of Thrones, but that's for a different post...
Eva and Lena together

What a dress! There is an incredible amount of work that went into this, as can be seen from all the detailing, it is mesmerising!

Oscars 2014 red carpet Part 2

Charlize Theron in Dior, nice, sure, boring, yes.

Elsa Pataky in Elie Saab. I keep seeing these dumbass reports that some people hated this dress, number one- fashion police are a ridiculous bunch anyways!! number two- just LOOK at the dress! The colour and embellishments are incredible! Being 7 months pregnant and looking poised I'm sure is hard to pull off and I think she's done it!

Lady Gaga in Versace, apparently she got there late and had to walk the red carpet alone? I don't know if that's hilariously wonderful or ridiculously awkward? Kudos to her! I really like those colours on her!

Julia Roberts in Givenchy, I'm a gigantic black lace fan! and at the risk of sounding like a slightly deranged grandma, just Google 'black lace curtains' wicked as! I know this dress copped some flack, who gives, I mean, it's a nice fit and the lace panel up top is a lovely piece of intricacy

Kerry Washington in Jason Wu. Another pregnant lady looking beautiful! I just love this colour! I suppose she has to do the Angelina Jolie leg thing so it doesn't swamp her though?

Jenna Dewan Tatum in Reem Acra. I love how crazy this dress is! It's beautiful! It looks like a shooting star in dress form!

Julie Delpy in Jenny Packham! I love the colour and fit, very old school, it reminds me of a picture of Jean Harlow hanging in my room!

Viola Davis in Escada. Pretty boring and safe, though i LOVE this colour! It does look a bit worn- to- a-high-school-dance-near-you though

Kate Hudson in Versace

Sarah Paulson in Elie Saab, Elie Saab doing well on the red carpet!

AND this oldie but goodie from Kate Mara at the Oscars in 2012, I just like this dress.

Hey you guys, look at this!

from E! online, nailed it! Lots of nude/ light pink embellished dresses this year, but nonetheless each lady looked lovely.
