Sure, people still dress like this, but there was just something so brilliant about it back in the day, maybe because it was highly original, and many fashion icons truly were pioneers of style, but something is lost when people "push the boundaries" today, I like to think styles always go back to the past

The 60's and 70's will always be immortalised by people who weren't alive during the era because of the legacy it left behind! We're just lucky that these cultural gems are still around for us to listen to, wear and see! ^_^

What I wouldn't do to be back in Europe! 

Though I missed Neuschwanstein when I was in Germany, I have always been curious as to the castles interior, as well as its magnificent exterior! What a sumptuous kitschy delight!

 It reminds me of Liberace sans bedazzler ;)

Lady Gaga

I really enjoyed circa 3 years ago Lady Gaga, don't get me wrong, the recent Versace campaign and the hilarious pics with Donatella are great. There were a couple of oh come on moments, but this was when she was top of her game in my mind

I mean LOOK at that piano, arguments of over the top exhibitionist aside, no one can argue that is one wicked prop, she's suspended on her chair swing!!

The Spice Girls

above from Spice World, simultaneously the best and worst movie ever, good for screening with your slightly tipsy mates, they know the words

In primary school I absolutely loathed the spice girls! Then I got older and learnt to appreciate the art of tacky and ridiculous over the top-ness and can now fully appreciate them.

Everyone had their own pop up spice girls band and  I got never ending requests to be ginger because of my slightly reddish hair

90's forever!

Brit awards, the infamous Union Jack dress was apparently made from an old tea towel and was a last minute costume idea from Ginger aka Geri H
