Anais Nin, I have always loved the 'masculine' 'look' on women, that was a 'trend' I enjoyed, after my relief that fluorescent trend died!

Birthday soon!

Since it's my birthday soon, I am doing a ridiculous whimsy-wish list!

A moon for the walls in my room, now that my once view of the night sky has been replaced by the neighbours' elevated house

A journal to fill is never put to waste with me! The Safavid style one by paperblanks is beautiful!

The works of Tesla, a very important man from our history, please do yourself a favour and acquaint yourself with his genius if unfamiliar with him, I would also recommend becoming a hardcore Alan Turing obsessive too, I am very happy the Imitation Game is doing such a great job spreading the history of one of the greatest minds ever

And taxidermy! The above piece was an Etsy I let slip away! It would have been well loved and treasured, it reminds me of Polly Morgan's work, where she turns taxidermy into sculptures

Anywho, most of all, a couple of ciders with the ones I love, and a picnic with my dogs at the park I live near would be the greatest! We must treasure our time with one another, and marvel at its wonder!

Well known Diarists: Marilyn Monroe

Rather than being about famous people who happened to have a diary/ journal, I'm thinking of tackling a series of posts about people who keep/kept journals.

I don't want this to veer into the murky waters of pretence or how everyone with a slightly melancholic personality considers themselves a writer, more people who got to speak for themselves.

I've always been interested in journals and their keepers and what compels people to write.
The idea that social media is the modern day equivalent of journal keeping is one that kind of makes me sad, sometimes when you hold something complete with coffee stains and teardrops, food smears, ticket stubs, it's better than just a picture with a caption

Do any of you keep a journal? What kind, and if online, please link away in comments! :)

Marilyn Monroe: the first of many posts

In memory of the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination, here is someone his administration in turn had assassinated (if conspiracy theorists are to be believed that is) distasteful jokes aside, what a beauty, so many many poor imitations to try to fill the void.

Did you that Hugh Hefner has bought the crypt/grave immediately next to hers? BOO!

What an old coot, he and all the others made a pretty penny exploiting her. Though she knew what she was doing a bit later on, he really didn't need to publish more naked pics of her after she was dead and gone, kind of creepy really

The Adventures of Bobo: Part Three

Bobo was anxious to work on his tan and have a fun day at the park, so that's exactly where i took him today

He was very anxious to try the swings

He fell off at one point, but got back on again

Well done Bobo!

He loved the slide

There was no getting him away from it

He said he wants to try go carting next, but I'm a bit worried

because he liked to let go of the handles too much...

Look Mum no hands!

Loopy Bobo

So long as he becomes a fireman and not an exotic dancer I'm happy to encourage his pole climbing skills

Reminiscent of a young Marilyn Monroe

Well Bobo, next time we might try the pool, he really should know how to swim, this worries me as a parent to a sprightly young skeleton

Until next time, Bobo says goodbye!!
